Patrick is the Managing Director of Forest Trends’ US Forest Service Project. He was previously Senior Program Manager of Forest Trends’ Ecosystem Marketplace and Supply Change Initiative which he joined in May 2019, and before that was Program Manager of Forest Trends’ Business and Biodiversity Offset Program (BBOP) from 2007 to 2018. Patrick has twenty years of diverse international conservation and development experience including managing remote teams and multi-stakeholder coalitions for environmental NGOs, the private sector and government. Previous work includes managing community forestry-based enterprises in Nepal for the World Wildlife Fund; helping to establish the Conservation Finance Alliance and overseeing the development of a guide on innovative conservation financing while at The Nature Conservancy; and serving as a consultant to USAID’s Biodiversity and Forestry Team with Chemonics Inc
