View PublicationThe aim of the workshop was to identify and champion pro-poor market and trade policy reforms by improving local capacity to better evaluate key timber wood flows and forest
governance issues, and by promoting a network to advocate for improved policy and market reforms in the Mekong region. The workshop brought together a small group of Mekong national researchers and institutions that were willing and able to participate in such a network, employing a critical cross-border coalition approach.
