FLEGT VPA and REDD+ and community tenure rights in Honduras

the first Latin American country to be simultaneously involved in FLEGT VPA and REDD+ processes, provides evidence that community
forestry can significantly contribute to their common aims. That being so, both initiatives should focus on policies that support forest communities, in particular those that strengthen and clarify these communities’ rights to land and resources.
