How can I help? With review and accountability.

Civil society organisations can hold governments, companies and financial institutions to account for keeping their commitments (e.g. meeting policy and corporate targets) and maintaining high standards.  They can build effective coalitions to engage with companies to ensure compliance with mitigation commitments.  As well as their role in alerting society when standards are not met, they can help shape viable, positive solutions to achieve Biodiversity Net Gain.  They can enter into partnerships among NGOs, local government, and companies to support best practice.
