Lorena is a Peruvian sociologist with professional experience in research and project management focused on immigrant and Indigenous communities, including Indigenous women’s organizations across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. She holds a master’s degree in social sciences from the Department of Latin American Studies at the University of Brasília (ELA/UnB) and a degree in Sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
In her current role, Lorena oversees administrative and programmatic functions in close coordination with the Project Manager. Through her expertise and collaborative approach, she contributes to capacity building and strengthens management capabilities aligned with each community’s vision. She also supports compliance and operational effectiveness, bringing strong experience in procurement and donor requirements, financial flow management, and budget oversight.
