This paper draws on recent fieldwork and relevant literature to analyze the characteristics and causes of gender inequity in small and microenterprises in Vietnam’s wood processing sector, and makes recommendations for gender-specific interventions. It also considers the likely impacts for women following implementation of Vietnam’s Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade - Voluntary Partnership Agreement (FLEGT-VPA) signed in 2018 with the European Union.
</oembed>
